Chairperson's report by Sue Grandison Nov 2021 AGM
I do hope you are all keeping well in these very difficult times.
The Committee is so sad to report the death of Marjorie Dunn who died in January 2021. She contributed so much to local amateur dramatics in her lifetime.
As you will be aware, Covid-19 has forced us to abandon our normal yearly programme of events in 2020 and 2021, except for the successful quiz night we held on October 29th 2021 when we had over 54 attending and 8 quiz tables.
We are now hoping to present our next production THE LADYKILLERS in April 2022. Our set designer and builders have been working on the set.
We have a wonderful cast booked. All have been contacted and are looking forward to the show.
Our Website, along with our Newsletter will keep you advised on what is currently happening.
I would like to thank Harry our Secretary who keeps in touch with the Committee, Brentwood School, cast members and the producers, Juliette for continuing with the Newsletter and publicity, Mark for doing the Accounts and web site, and Brenda for her work as Minute Secretary.
Thanks also to Kevin (our set designer), George, Steve and Harry for continuing with the set of ‘The Ladykillers’ at the barn.
