The Marlborough are pleased to announce that we will be taking part in the Brentwood Arts Council's Arts Festival this summer, with our show "An 80th anniversary tribute to the end of World War II".
The Arts Festival is running from 28 June to 12 July 2025, and there are a wide range of events happening in and around the borough.
As part of this, the Marlborough have decided to hold a tribute evening on 11 July at 7pm. Our theme is 'Wartime memories' celebrating 80 years since the end of World War II. In 'cabaret' style, the evening will feature a range of acts, with playlets, poetry and readings of letters from service people, music and singing, personal war memories, and Churchill speech recreations.
The ticket price - £15 for all attendees be they a member or not, will include wine and nibbles.
